Wops! Thank goodness for alert readers!

So after the last post, some of you immediately mentioned I've been neglecting the backing fabrics of my quilts. And this fabric is very special, it's the first time I've used it, it's new Ikea and for me, it's the definition of summer-y days! We have lady bugs, strawberries, carrots and all sorts of great fresh items!

However, since the fabric wasn't wide enough, I added another Ikea fabric for the borders, and I think it worked great! I love those little banners.

This is a much loved project that ended up being cast aside due to all the comissions I had this month. But I never forgot about it and now I'm excited to finish it at last!

I chose a really cute Ikea fabric with some vegetables and fruits, it's really Summer-like.

By the way, I still can't comment on my posts, even though I really wanted to, sorry about that. I'm reading your comments, just can't answer them :(

Hello.
Guess I'm multitasking now! I'm making two quilts at the same time, as it is a comission for the same person.



 This one I've shown you before, now it is already quilted. I'm still not sure this is the final version, but if not, I should finish it by tomorrow.

This is the new fabric I bought (IKEA, of course) and it has already inspired me in all sorts of ways. It's a difficult fabric, the little animals are huge and in different shapes and sizes do it's hard to get equal squares. 

This is what I came up with. Already quilted as well. I used a thicker batting, I win some depth and lose some precision, but I think it's worth it!
